All Are Welcome

As a Christ-centered congregation, we hear and proclaim the good news of the Lord through worship in the Lutheran liturgical tradition. Beyond the service, we seek to make Christ known to others, to take Christ’s message of loving kindness, justice and peace outside our doors, and to have that message shape and challenge our lives. We face the future trusting in the presence and work of the Holy Spirit.

We extend the welcome of Christ to all who come seeking him and we gather around the living Word to worship and attend to its grace and challenge.  A member community of the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, we are working with other Christians and people of other traditions for the wholeness and healing of the city.  We have been a Reconciling in Christ Congregation within the ELCA since 2000, explicit in our insistence that the Gospel’s welcome is here for all regardless of race, class, or sexuality.  St. Paul wrote, “Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you.”  (Romans 15)

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
Lamentations 3:22-23
